Let’s study how to conjugate the simple present a  very important verb of Italian cooking:
Assaggiare – To Taste

Io assaggio, Tu assaggi, Egli assaggia, Noi assaggiamo, Voi assaggiate, Essi assaggiano

Let’s study some useful sentences

Ha bisogno di un pò di sale

Manca di un pò di zucchero

Basta così? A posto così

E’ pronto? Sono cotti?

Tagliare, mischiare, pelare, Tagliare a dadini, mescolare, grattugiare, Affettare, aggiungere, friggere

Let’s do some practice!

Below you’ll find 5 Italian sentences and you have to translate them in English and
write it in the comments below. I want to see If you are able to translate them and

  1. Riempi d’acqua una grande pentola e portala ad ebollizione
  2. Quando l’acqua comincia a bollire, aggiungi del sale
  3. Poi aggiungi la pasta e mescola, di tanto in tanto, finché non ti piace la cottura
  4. A me piace la pasta al dente, la pasta scotta non è buona
  5. Quando la pasta è pronta, devi scolarla
