Numero di posto – Seat number
Porta bagagli – Luggage rack
Prima classe – First class
Seconda classe – Second class
Controllore – Ticket inspector
Sanzione tariffaria – Penalty fare

A: Buongiorno, da quale binario parte il treno per Roma?

B: Salve, dal binario 4

A: grazie, e di preciso a che ora parte il treno?

B: parte alle 16.00, ha il biglietto?

A. si, è un biglietto di andata e ritorno in prima classe per Roma, vado a visitare i miei nonni

B: bene, faccia buon viaggio!

Translation

A:  Good morning , from which platform does the train to Rome leave?

B: Hi, It leaves from platform 4

A: thanks, and at what time does it leave precisely?

B: at 4 pm, do you have the ticket?

A: yes, it a first class roundtrip ticket to Rome, I’m about to visit my gran parents

I would like a first / second class ticket

C’è uno sconto per bambini / studenti / disabili/ pensionati?
Are there any discounts for children / students / disabled people / pensioners?

C’è un vagone ristorante sul treno?
Is there a dining car on the train?

Il treno è in ritardo
The train is late

Mi può indicare il binario?
Can you tell me the platform?

Quanto costa il biglietto?
How much is the ticket?

Posso chiudere / aprire il finestrino?
Can I close / open the window?
