1. San Gregorio Armeno, Napoli
Get ready to discover one of the treasures of Naples. One of the most picturesque streets of this fascinating city. If you like the nativity scene (presepe in italian) you have to visit the famous street of the nativity scene makers, in Naples’s historic city, Via San Gregorio Armeno.
Here you can admire many shops with creative nativity figurines in all variations. Besides the Jesus- and Madonna figurines you will also find detailed copies of all household objects, gastronomic delights, exotic animals, and sometimes even caricatured politicians all handmade. Of course you can buy even a full completed presepe with or without crib figures
During Christmas time, more than half a million tourists come to see the shops with the original miniature figurines

Other places to go to breathe the most romantic Christmas atmosphere: every year the streets of Merano, Bressanone, Bolzano, Brunico and Vipiteno light up and welcome visitors with specialties and Christmas trees, which are definitely an explosion of colors and decorations . These products go from gastronomic specialties, coming from all over the Italian regions, to the excellences in terms of craftsmanship and furniture
4. The largest Christmas tree in the world, Gubbio, 7 December 2015
You cannot miss this! I definitely suggest you to assist to the extraordinary and impressive lighting of the largest Christmas trees in the world ! And you can have this in the medieval and suggestive town of Gubbio – in the Guinness Book of Records from the 1991! Positioned at the bottom of Mount Ingino, it is formed by many different types of lights creating an extraordinary colorful effect, with more than 300 green colored lights shaping a Christmas tree.
5. Piazza Navona’s Christmas market, Rome
If you will be in Rome during Christmas Holidays you cannot miss it: the traditional Christmas market at Piazza Navona. It will welcome you with a lot of Christmas colors and smells! You’ll find many stands selling decorations and gifts for Christmas as well as delicious pastries and hot wine.
